We connect change-makers, industry leaders, and the public — to inspire awareness, dialogue, and action on environmental sustainability in Hong Kong.
The Mission
SustainHK is a project dedicated to drive awareness of the climate crisis in Hong Kong.
Our project is started by members of the Global Shapers Hong Kong Hub, an initiative out of the World Economic Forum.
We hope to unite different community leaders, spark important conversations, as well as educate the public on environmental sustainability.
Ultimately, our initiatives are aimed at making sustainability more accessible across both the private and public sectors, and on personal, business, and policy levels in our city.
Our Initiatives
-
After a long hiatus from in-person events, we kicked off Organic Conversations in 2022 to bring together local green communities and businesses to explore possibilities and co-create eco-conscious solutions. We invite green experts, entrepreneurs, and curious folks to join us in a series of networking and seminar events.
-
We’ll be organizing several eco tours in 2023 to encourage low-carbon experiences and to support conservation education with local partners.
-
We’ll be working with local NGOs and industry leaders to host a series of design workshops and hackathons in 2023 geared towards building sustainable solutions. We hope to inspire goal-oriented actions that involve social, economic, and ecological thinking.
SustainHK is committed to accelerating climate action and encouraging sustainable development in Hong Kong by engaging local stakeholders, including policy makers, businesses, and civil society.
